SleepyTales takes the privacy and safety of children extremely seriously. We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent international regulations. We do not collect information directly from children — all accounts are created and managed by parents or legal guardians.

This information is used solely to personalize bedtime stories. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any other purpose.
We do NOT use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the SleepyTales service.
Stories are generated using OpenAI's language models. Child profile information (first name, age, interests) is sent to OpenAI as part of the story generation prompt. OpenAI's data usage policies apply. We do not send last names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary for story personalization.
All generated content passes through our content safety filter before being displayed. This filter checks for inappropriate language, themes, or content that should never appear in children's stories.
Your data is stored securely on our servers. Audio files are stored locally and associated with your account. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
You can delete your child's profile at any time from the Profiles page. This permanently deletes the profile and all associated stories and audio files. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below.
